Beautiful mid-century modern design, excellent cream top (I recommend it on an iced coffee), sadly no wifi.

Ya so delicious the rich and yet, not-bitter matcha latte, with foamed perfection and sweet latte art- provides the only reason I need to return; yet this breezy, airy spot gives so much more than that. The cookies I tried were both perfect: a peanut butter and a chocolate rye. Try them both, but good luck choosing your favorite of the two! I instantly loved all the staff behind the counter, good people work here. :) A former Regal cleaners with mid-century modern angled roof and celestory windows has been transformed, with an open-air wall of windows and sliding glass doors, slid wide open in these foothills' frequently pleasant weather. The sliding glass door wall opens to a pebble-grounded xeriscape yard with reclaimed large logs of tree trunks for seating. Interior boasts a long counter for the employees' work stations, sheltered by a tasteful breeze block and light wood wall, featuring two window-like openings through which to interact and then proceed for your drink pickup. Flow here is well designed and ready for crowds if necessary, including a beautiful pinkish soft stone in the walking area, counter height, to assist in customer flow, and a couple tables and counters facing in different directions for laptop use (which it seems, is not discouraged here). The calming effect of clear and roomy architecture, gentle breeze from the hills, calming gentle music, and acoustics-dampening wood accents are all what you might hope for in a cafe. The one public restroom includes a changing table and new floor-to-ceiling one inch tiles and a charming built-in light accent. There are a humble number of parking spaces in the lot, including a great handicapped space, and you can find a plenitude of parking up Park drive if you need. Enjoy!

Super cute spot with a desert themed design. The seating is a bit sparse with a few stools and tables inside, and stone benches outside. I got an iced matcha latte for $8. Definitely on the higher price end considering it didn't have a cream top or any added flavors or alternate milks. Their ice cubes are also giant and took up 80% of the cup. The matcha was good quality though. I would come back to try their chai or vanilla lattes.

Food - 4/5 Coffee was solid. I got a cookie but can't remember what it was, but solid. Service - 4/5 Nothing super special about the service. The staff is nice. Ambience - 4/5 Definitely a viral spot that I can see people flocking to for its open space vibe. Just a heads up for anyone looking to do work here they don't have WiFi. Limited lot parking and street parking.

If someone asked for a coffee shop in the area that is a good representation of the LA coffee scene, I would definitely point them to this coffee shop! The exterior/interior design choices definitely remind me of Community Goods with a Montrose twist. The open layout allows for pockets of space for small groups to have conversations while enjoying their drinks. I ended up getting the vanilla latte, and I was surprised by how good the quality of the vanilla/vanilla bean was! I don't think many coffee shops have a drink like this one, so get it if you're looking for a standard drink with a little twist. The espresso was also pretty solid - I liked that it was pretty smooth and not too acidic. The latte was pretty pricey for what you get, but it's a nice treat every so often. I got the ham and cheese croissant, but I wish it had been warmed up a little as the cheese was pretty hard to bite into (if crunchy cheese is your cup of tea, this is perfect). Overall, a really good spot and I will be back!

This coffee shop is an experience like no other. As you pull up, you'll spot a "Regal Laundry" sign and wonder, "Is this a coffee shop or a dry cleaner?" But it's far more than that, it's an oasis. The spacious courtyard garden, covered in gravel, is perfect for letting kids and pets roam while you sip your coffee. The shop's open design blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor, creating an inviting vibe. Now, let's talk coffee. My friend had a cortado that was so good and I went with the matcha. As a bit of a matcha snob, I can confidently say this one was excellent. Michelle, the kind owner, told me it's actually ceremonial grade. That means it's premium matcha and it absolutely shows. The coffee with the cream top was also fantastic. I was so excited to find that they stock my favorite beans too! So...how's it going to end? You'll just have to find out yourself...
